“The forest is a living, breathing organism, and I imagined myself inhaling and exhaling within it. I love where the lush subtropical undergrowth meets the ancient scribbly gums, their trunks etched with the delicate, almost otherworldly artworks of the scribbly gum moth. Through layers of rich colour, I wanted to reveal the intricate interconnectedness of this ecosystem.”
